  • Choose your task categories, schedule, travel radius, and rates — and which bookings to accept.
  • Send a visit report after every visit.
  • Keep your credentials, documents, and verification current.
  • Work as an independent professional — Kalinga+ is a marketplace, not an employer.

Frequently asked

Clear answers for caregivers.

Kalinga+ is launching statewide across Arizona, connecting independent caregivers with families who need non-medical support.

No. Kalinga+ is a marketplace of independent caregivers. Families choose their caregiver, and caregivers choose their work. Kalinga+ verifies identities and publishes your trust profile, but does not employ you.
No. Kalinga+ is for non-medical support only. Medication administration, wound care, injections, diagnosis, skilled nursing, therapy, and other medical procedures are prohibited.
Kalinga+ authorizes the family’s card at booking and captures payment when the caregiver submits the visit report. Caregivers see the full fee breakdown, keep 100% of tips, and are paid on the Kalinga+ payout schedule: a visit counts as completed when the visit report is submitted; visits completed on the 1st–10th are paid on the 20th of the same month, the 11th–20th on the 1st of the next month, and the 21st–month-end on the 10th of the next month.
Kalinga+ serves the whole state of Arizona, including Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, and other communities.
Complete verification — identity check, background screening, references, and the platform orientation — then set your rates, publish your profile, and accept your first bookings. References are simply two people who can vouch for your character — a teacher, coach, employer, neighbor, or family friend. They don’t need to be care-industry references.
You must be 18 or older. Kalinga+ caregivers are independent contractors, not employees — you need to be a legal adult to enter the caregiver agreement, clear background screening, and drive for errands and transport. This matches the standard across Arizona home-care providers.
We review every application personally, in the order it arrives. Then comes verification — identity check, background screening, references, and the platform orientation. After that you set your rates, publish your profile, and booking requests start arriving by email; you accept the ones you want. Kalinga+ is live — create your account and your next steps.
Kalinga+ is a non-medical home care marketplace, so clinical tasks — medication administration, wound care, injections, diagnosis, skilled nursing, therapy, and other medical procedures — aren’t part of any booking, even for licensed nurses. Nurses are very welcome here: you join as a caregiver, your background brings credibility families value, and it earns the “Licensed nurse (non-medical care)” profile badge. Your qualifications also work in your favor commercially — verified nursing credentials place you in the Premier tier (Premier caregivers may set a rate multiplier of 10%–50% on their rate), and your badges promote you on their own: families filtering for top qualifications find you first. Keeping every visit non-medical is also what keeps your license safe.
Booking requests reach you by email — you accept or decline each one, and you always choose which requests to take. At launch, requests also appear in the Kalinga+ app. In-app caregiver tools for accepting jobs and submitting visit reports from your phone follow after launch. You can already submit a visit report here.

How payment works

Simple, cashless, transparent.

No cash ever changes hands. Every dollar is traceable, and the breakdown is shown before anything is agreed.

1

You pay Kalinga+ securely — by card, or from a conservatorship or trust account — when the visit is confirmed.

2

Your caregiver is paid on the Kalinga+ payout schedule. A visit counts as completed when the visit report is submitted. Visits completed on the 1st–10th are paid on the 20th of the same month; visits completed on the 11th–20th are paid on the 1st of the next month; and visits completed on the 21st–month-end are paid on the 10th of the next month. A 7-day refund window after completion is the payout hold — once paid, payment is final.

3

Tips go 100% to your caregiver. Our 10% service commission is shown up front — no surprises.
